The way that government at all levels is taking on the role of our Nanny or Overseer, is simply overwhelming. Therefore, I have decided to try to change things in local government.

I have been asked to run for county wide office and I have accepted.

The Republican Party and the Conservative Party have given me their endorsement. My county, including my district, has gone Democratic so it will be an uphill battle, but I must try.

In putting together a resume, I saw clearly that I have continually worked as an activist, within the political arena. My consistent clarion call has been that government should restrict itself to its properly mandated role as outlined in the original Constitution.

I have always been active in my community. It is a citizens duty.

Uniting conservatives to work toward common goals: Low tax, small government, pro-family, strong defense, self responsibility, strong education, moral and value based decisions.

Profiled by “Inside Edition”, a national TV show, for defending a local preachers right to free speech in the exercise and expression of his religion.

Rally Organizer: Citizens Against Government Waste

“Sweep the bums out.” was the rallying cry. Attended by Herb London, candidate for governor of NYS.

President: United Taxpayers Association

“Fact: We pay more in taxes to help others than we pay to feed, clothe and house our own family.”

1980s

Eastern NY Chairman: TRIM – Tax Reform Immediately

Worked hard for lower taxes through less government.

Created and distributed tens of thousands of congressional voter scorecards. Defeated a high tax and spend congressman. Got a congressman who consistently voted against high spending bills.

Upstate NY representative: High Frontier – Strategic Defense Initiative (Star Wars)

Defending America From Space With Science

President of the largest not-for-profit Real Estate Investors Association in upstate New York. Participated at the national level in the National Real Estate Investor’s Association.

Lectured widely on NYS laws that infringe on our constitutional right to our property. Single handily defeated anti-property “lead paint” legislation.

I engage in this quest so that I can have input into the decision making process. If citizens do not stand up for themselves, then they will be run over.

I urge you, dear readers, to think about doing the same; to take stock of your community and work within the existing frameworks to make it better. Perhaps you can be an example that others will copy.  Perhaps you can be a beacon of hope and inspiration that others will emulate.
