I’m back from the election and ready to invest in tax delinquent property. Post 55

Coach Mitch’s REFLECTIONS

November 19, 2007

I took the last two months off in order to devote full time to my pursuit of elective office.

Unfortunately, I lost. I ran as a Republican / Conservative and it was a big Democratic year.

Democrats swept almost all offices, even in areas that had been traditionally Republican. A few Republican incumbents won although many lost.

The one exception were two, first time board member aspirants in a neighboring town where they mailed the extraordinarily low property tax assessment of a Democratic incumbent board member to all town voters. It showed that his property was assessed at 50% of what it should have been. What a great idea.

I put on a free seminar on how to reduce your property tax assessment. It was well attended and I got a lot of kudos for it, however it was not enough to win.

This was my first attempt at running for public office. It was an interesting experience. I’m glad I got it out of my system.

See Coach Mitch’s “Ridiculously Simple System…” ™ for details.
